Hans Hilte's Homepage

I'm an avid collector (or should I say accumulator) of postage stamps. I have a special Hundertwasser collection and further try to sort out all my precancels, perfins and company overprints.

Sometimes I find stamps that are difficult to identify. Permitting time I try to get more information on them. The following image contains something that looks like a precancel, but is more likely a box-cancel. I'm unable to identify the town. Any information is appreciated.

Another hobby is my garden. Apart from the front garden with flowers I have a chicken-house in the back garden and a small plot with fruit trees. In the henhouse there is only one hen, all others died last year. I also have a vegetable plot in my garden. There are 2 beehives located there.

In this garden I have very many snowdrops in the fruit plot, but this year I have a kind of snowdrop flowering I have not seen before. If it is the giant snowdrop (Galanthus elwesii) it has been definitely landed here by accident. (see also the flower)

I sell the excess honey and eggs (not too many at this moment). All other produce we consume ourselves.

My son Joost has his homepage stored within my pages. My daughter Marith has her own homepages.
